Be part of a team that provides an exceptional experience for our residents by overseeing the property to maintain and improve the facility, grounds and housekeeping/laundry. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining all facility systems, equipment, grounds, finishes, identify potential issues and solve issues that arise. Coordinate and manage any outside vendor or contractor that comes on-site to work on the maintenance or repair of the community. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee, maintain, improve and inspect our community. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Inventory management process. Maintain inventory and order supplies. Perform routine building maintenance. Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems, test functionality of facilities safety systems, etc. Conduct fire drills monthly with all staff and management. Maintain, service and clean and properly store equipment. Manage housekeeping and laundry staff. Maintain and coordinate repairs - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpets/flooring etc. Maintain all building certifications and inspections needed by code.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and minor electrical work. Must have a valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record. HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
