Job Description

Director of Maintenance Job Summary:
Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center (NRCC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our leadership team! As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance, life safety compliance, preventative maintenance programs, environmental services support, and building operations. If you are passionate about ensuring the highest level of quality care and a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our residents and staff, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. About the
Role:
As a Director of Maintenance , you will be responsible for: Managing all building maintenance and repair activities Supervising maintenance department staff Ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code requirements Coordinating inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules Managing outside contractors and vendors Maintaining facility grounds and equipment Participating in emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as needed
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance leadership experience required Previous experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and lead a team
