Maintenance Coordinator Airshare - 3.6 Shelton, CT Job Details Full-time 14 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication FAR Part 91 regulation Airframe & Powerplant License High school diploma or GED Airline regulations compliance FAR Part 135 regulation Full Job Description The Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all maintenance activities for assigned managed aircraft to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and customer expectations. Ensures aircraft are safe, mission-ready, and maintained in a cost-effective manner. Essential Duties Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for assigned aircraft Track maintenance requirements based on hours, cycles, and calendar intervals Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins Maintain accurate aircraft records and logbooks Coordinate and oversee maintenance events with vendors, OEMs, and MROs Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes; recommend cost-effective solutions Review maintenance invoices and process warranty claims Support maintenance budgeting and cost tracking Perform or coordinate routine servicing and inspections as needed Communicate maintenance status, downtime, and return-to-service timelines with internal teams and aircraft owners Qualified Candidates will have a HS Diploma and an FAA A&P License with 5 years of general aviation experience. Must have working knowledge of FAA Part 91/135 regulations
Additional Skills:
Experience with maintenance tracking systems preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Vendor coordination and cost control experience Strong attention to details
