The Role We are looking for a Service Manager to anchor the second floor of Amazonia. You will be the face of the floor on every shift — running service, supporting your team, and ensuring every table has a seamless experience from arrival to farewell. You will also oversee bar operations, ensuring quality, pace, and hospitality standards are met throughout service. As we grow, there is potential to rotate through other departments and expand your scope across our broader operations. Responsibilities Lead floor shifts on the second floor, managing flow, pacing, and guest experience from open to close Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during service Oversee bar operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed Coordinate with the kitchen on timing, coursing, and special needs Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure the team is informed and prepared Coach and support FOH staff in real time during service Handle guest concerns promptly and with genuine hospitality Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures Potential to rotate through other departments as the business evolves Qualifications Hospitality focused attitude 3+ years of experience in a full-service restaurant, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity Comfortable managing a busy floor independently and making real-time decisions Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits or desire to learn A natural communicator and team player with high standards for hospitality Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented Familiarity with Latin American cuisine and culture is a plus Benefits Health insurance stipend Paid vacation/personal/sick days Dining discounts at Amazonia and Causa Technology Platforms Toast, 7
