LLC Overview:
The Senior Manager, Maintenance Excellence & Strategy, is responsible for leading and driving the Company's Maintenance Pillar across all manufacturing and distribution facilities. This role establishes enterprise-wide standards, ensures CMMS system integrity, and drives improvements in asset performance, cost control, and maintenance execution. Operating in a matrixed environment, this position provides strategic leadership and technical guidance to site Maintenance Managers (dotted-line relationship) to ensure alignment with company maintenance standards and performance expectations.

Responsibilities:
o Own and drive the Maintenance Pillar across all facilities, including development, deployment, and continuous improvement of standards, tools, and KPIs. Provide strategic leadership and guidance to site Maintenance Managers (dotted-line), ensuring alignment to enterprise maintenance standards and expectations. o Establish, standardize, and enforce Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, including: PM completion targets PM quality and effectiveness Audit processes and compliance tracking o Ensure integrity and effectiveness of the CMMS (Oracle EAM), including: Asset hierarchy accuracy Work order quality and consistency Data accuracy for reporting and decision-making o Drive improvements in planned vs. unplanned maintenance work, reducing emergency work and increasing schedule compliance. o Lead initiatives to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime through structured maintenance practices. o Develop, manage, and monitor Repair & Maintenance (R&M) budgets across all facilities, ensuring cost control and alignment to financial targets. o Own and drive accountability for key performance indicators, including: PM completion and compliance Planned vs. unplanned work Schedule compliance Maintenance cost performance Equipment downtime o Standardize and support maintenance planning & scheduling processes, including weekly planning routines and performance reviews. o Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability teams to support: Capital planning Equipment lifecycle strategies Maintenance readiness for new equipment o Support development of maintenance team capabilities, including skill assessments and training program alignment. o Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local agencies). o Lead and support enterprise maintenance improvement initiatives aligned with Company strategic goals. o Support the Senior Director of Reliability and Corporate Manufacturing leadership in execution of strategic initiatives. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical is preferred 7-10 years experience managing groups that provide diverse technical support. In depth system management experience (SAP, Oracle, etc) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) American Meat Institute (AMI) guidelines for sanitary designs Demonstrated track record of successful completion of major capital projects. Experienced in coaching & mentoring staff. Knowledge of food manufacturing with a focus on food safety. Ability to interface with multiple levels within an organization to meet goals & objectives. Experience in regulatory compliance and utility management. Experience in manufacturing equipment selection, sourcing & installation Strong problem solving & analytical skills
