Maintenance Supervisor

Large 55 plus Manufactured Home and RV Community Resort located in Boynton Beach has an opening for an experienced and motivated Full Time Maintenance Supervisor. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the oversight of Maintenance Staff, and the repair & upkeep of the community, including community-owned assets and common areas. Applicant must be willing to work inside and outside for extended periods of time and often near/around our residents. Able to lift >50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to work independently and with others and have excellent customer service skills. Job Description/Experience Our community maintenance department needs are growing, and we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with experience in overseeing a team and knowledge in all types of carpentry and trade work such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Irrigation systems
• Install new plumbing faucets, replace defective valves, etc.
• The knowledge or ability to learn how to check our utility pumps and motors, to make sure all is in working order and identify when they are not.
• Deal with incoming work order requests and log when complete.
• Abide by community safety measures and policies.
• You will also be required to assist with other employees if assistance is needed.
• Must be willing to be on-call for emergencies and service calls 24/7 (guaranteed 1-hour O.

T. for after-hours call-ins) Additional Job Duties General oversight of all common area buildings and outdoor areas on a daily basis. Inspect common areas and buildings regularly to promote and maintain great curb appeal at all times. Daily inspection of the clubhouses and common area grounds. Drive the home site areas weekly. All other areas weekly. Oversee maintenance staff Knowledge of electric, plumbing and construction is a major plus Maintain all maintenance equipment and vehicles. Keep a service log for each vehicle and equipment. Third party contractors

• i.e. mowing, pool maintenance, water and sewer plant operations, etc.
