Job Description

Director of Maintenance Join our family at Aviata at Central Park, a community-focused organization dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centered care through compassion, clinical excellence, and connection. We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Maintenance to help us build a culture of excellence in our facility. About the Role As a Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Maintenance Department. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan to ensure effective maintenance of equipment and facilities Establish an equipment and utilities management program to ensure efficient operation and maintenance Hire, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure tasks are completed effectively Participate in regular safety inspections and provide facility-wide training on safety issues Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building grounds, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment Provide innovative solutions to improve systems and processes, leading to superior results Requirements High school education or its equivalent A secondary degree from an accredited vocational or technical school preferred Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations A qualified, compassionate, and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to exceptional care Why Join Us At Aviata at Central Park, we believe in creating a welcoming environment where residents, families, and team members feel valued, respected, and at home.
