brooksville, florida Posted 10 days ago Closes 9/16/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $60,000 - $78,000 per year Permanent 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Industry installation, maintenance & repair (Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations) Reference number S_175751 The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring production equipment and facility systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, mechanically inclined, and experienced with PLC systems, maintenance planning, and workplace organization standards such as 5S.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to keep production lines running at optimal efficiency. Oversee and continuously improve the preventative maintenance program, including new equipment integration. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all scheduled work is completed on time. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery and facility equipment such as pumps, valves, mixers, motors, and packaging systems. Minimize downtime through rapid diagnosis and resolution of mechanical and electrical issues. Manage inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate with external vendors when needed. Ensure plant equipment is cleaned and maintained on routine schedules. ... Identify and resolve safety-related maintenance issues. Support facility upkeep to maintain a clean, functional, and compliant environment. Research equipment or materials and present recommendations for operational improvements.
