Job Description:

Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Orders and manages inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to maintenance staff. Conducts regular inspections to identify and address potential issues. Manages the planning, design, and construction phases of facility projects. Develops and implements preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems. Coordinates and performs routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Oversees the maintenance and repair of the hospital's physical structure, including walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies. Monitors and maintains alarms, switches, and sensors. Manages the hospital's PM (Preventive Maintenance) and CM (Corrective Maintenance) programs. Coordinates with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Thorough knowledge of AHCA regulations, The Joint Commission and NFPA standards, and other applicable codes of the healthcare industry. [Required]
• Extensive working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems with the ability to read, understand and implement Life Safety Code standards of building construction. [Required]
• Excellent organizational, oral and mathematical skills including ability to understand and interpret statistical data. [Required]
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints, drawings, floor plans and schedules as they relate to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, building structures and finishes. [Required]
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and able to learn PM/CM Applications [Required]
• Thorough knowledge in computer skills [Required]
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. [Preferred]
• Able to read blue prints [Preferred]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 2+ of job related experience [Required]
• Experience with healthcare regulations [Required]

Pay Range:
