Our service department is the backbone of our operation — keeping inventory reconditioned and our customers' vehicles on the road. We're a tight-knit team that rewards hard work, and we're looking for a proven Service Manager to lead the charge.

• ABOUT THE ROLE

• We are looking for an experienced Service Manager with a strong automotive technician background to oversee all daily service department operations.

This is a hands-on leadership position — you will manage service advisors, coordinate with technicians, handle repair orders from write-up to close, and ensure our service drive runs at peak efficiency. Your technical knowledge will be essential in supporting your team, diagnosing workflow bottlenecks, and earning the trust of our technicians.

Automotive technician background is

REQUIRED.

Candidates without both will not be considered.

• RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all daily service department operations including scheduling, workflow, and technician assignments Open, track, and close repair orders accurately within DealerCenter DMS Supervise and mentor service advisors, ensuring excellent customer communication at every step Monitor and achieve department targets for CSI scores, labor hours, and gross profit Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability and minimize vehicle downtime Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints professionally Conduct team meetings and performance reviews with service staff Ensure compliance with safety regulations and service standards Oversee warranty repairs, recall completions, and proper documentation Generate and analyze service department reports in DealerCenter to track KPIs Collaborate with the used car and sales teams to support reconditioning timelines•

REQUIREMENTS

• Automotive technician background is

REQUIRED

— must have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles Minimum 3 years of automotive service management experience at a dealership Hands-on DealerCenter DMS experience (repair orders, scheduling, reporting, parts coordination) —

REQUIRED ASE

certification strongly preferred; candidates with active ASE credentials will be prioritized Strong understanding of automotive service operations, repair processes, and labor time guides Proven track record of meeting service department revenue and CSI goals Ability to lead service advisors and technicians in a high-volume environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open ROs at once Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or GED required

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience at a used, pre-owned, or off-lease dealership Experience managing a service drive with 15+ repair orders per day Familiarity with multi-point inspections and digital vehicle inspections (DVI) Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
