Full Job Description Maintenance Director Job Summary:
Sierra Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a compassionate and dedicated healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our facilities management team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance, upkeep, and repair of our facility, including ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting Plan, coordinate, and direct maintenance activities to ensure the upkeep and repair of facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure Develop and implement effective maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions Supervise and train maintenance staff, including hiring, evaluating, and disciplining as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction Manage inventory and purchasing of supplies and materials Develop and manage the annual budget for maintenance and repairRequirements:
Proficient in English (written and spoken) required 2 minimum years of experience in maintenance management or a related field High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., maintenance technology, engineering) preferred Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and external vendors Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks, as well as work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof ofCOVID-19
