In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a talented team of technicians and service advisors, and ensure that every vehicle receives top-quality maintenance and repairs. Your leadership will drive customer satisfaction, boost service sales through upselling and effective communication, and uphold the highest standards of automotive service excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the automotive service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery Manage daily operations including scheduling, parts ordering, and workflow coordination to maximize productivity Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly, offering recommendations for upselling additional services such as auto estimating and service writing Monitor technician performance and provide coaching to enhance technical skills such as automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation and records Promote a safety-conscious environment adhering to all safety protocols and industry standards Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management Extensive knowledge of automotive repair including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Hands-on mechanic experience combined with expertise in automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting Demonstrated ability in upselling services to increase revenue while maintaining customer trust Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team of technicians and service advisors Valid knowledge of dealership operations including vehicle maintenance procedures and automobile sales processes This role offers an energetic environment where your expertise will directly influence customer satisfaction and business growth.
