Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will be instrumental in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, including electrical systems and logic controllers. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Utilize tools s to diagnose problems effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques. Familiarity with logic controllers and the ability to read schematics is essential. Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory. Leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance staff or projects are desirable.
