This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from electrical repairs to painting, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help create comfortable, well-maintained environments that residents and clients love. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components. Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Conduct electrical work such as wiring, circuit troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters, and installing programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems. Carry out welding tasks and mechanical repairs to maintain equipment and structural elements. Execute residential painting projects to enhance property appearance and value. Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs. Lead small teams or contractors during larger projects, demonstrating leadership and supervising experience. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety standards and conducting regular facilities maintenance checks. Communicate effectively with residents or clients to provide updates on work progress and address service requests promptly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and understanding PLCs. Skilled in welding techniques for structural or equipment repairs. Experience in facilities maintenance within residential or manufacturing settings. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance planning and record keeping. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication in English. Supervising experience managing maintenance teams or contractors effectively. Ability to perform residential painting with attention to detail. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and industrial equipment maintenance.
