Executive Director Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the safety, functionality, and appearance of our assisted living community. This role is essential to providing a comfortable, well-maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Oversee all building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (including life safety, fire, and health standards) Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility systems Conduct regular inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment Coordinate and supervise outside vendors and contractors Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and inventory Assist with room turnovers and renovations as needed Participate in inspections and surveys (state, fire marshal, etc.) Oversee housekeeping department Qualifications Prior maintenance experience required; healthcare or assisted living experience strongly preferred Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Reliable, dependable, and resident-focused Must be able to pass background screening and drug screening Valid driver's license preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
