What We Are Looking For:

SHA is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee maintenance operations across all SHA locations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective completion of maintenance tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment, and upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. The Maintenance Supervisor will manage multi-site teams, implement preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate complex repairs, renovations, and inspections while maintaining compliance with HUD regulations and SHA policies. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with strong technical expertise in building systems, groundskeeping, and multiple trades (including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting) and possess the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team. This position requires excellent organizational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to service excellence for our residents.

What You Need:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred Journeyman certification required; Master certification in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC preferred 10+ years of building or apartment maintenance experience, including at least 5 years managing multi-site teams Valid Florida driver's license, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, and insurable under SHA's auto policy Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions when required If you are interested in joining the SHA team and contributing to our mission to provide quality affordable housing while enhancing the lives of our residents, please apply now .
