Property Maintenance Manager

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Property Maintenance Technician for ongoing work at multiple rental properties throughout Palm Beach County. We are looking for someone reliable, responsive, professional, and capable of independently handling a wide variety of residential property maintenance and repair tasks. This is steady long-term work for the right person.

Responsibilities Include:

• General property maintenance and repairs
• Drywall repair and patching
• Interior/exterior painting
• Flooring repairs and installation
• Plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, leaks, disposals, etc.)
• Basic electrical work (switches, outlets, fixtures, ceiling fans, etc.)
• Basic A/C troubleshooting and minor HVAC repairs
• Appliance installation and repairs
• Doors, locks, cabinets, trim, and hardware repairs
• Property turnover and make-ready work
• Diagnosing maintenance issues
• Responding to tenant maintenance requests
• Taking before/after photos of completed work

Requirements:

• Previous property maintenance, apartment maintenance, or handyman experience
• Must have own transportation
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems
• Strong communication skills
• Professional attitude with tenants
• MUST be dependable and show up when scheduled
• MUST respond to calls/texts in a timely manner
• English required; Spanish is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on rental properties or apartment communities
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, appliances, and A/C systems

EPA/HVAC

certification is a plus

Compensation:

• Hourly or per-job pay depending on experience
