Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. This energetic role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems, and executing repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical work, mechanical systems, and supervisory experience to lead maintenance activities with enthusiasm and precision. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, reliable, and productive environment for our team. Duties Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to identify issues early. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery, including welding, electrical components, and mechanical parts. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot problems effectively. Operate tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment to test electrical circuits and components. Manage facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC systems, residential painting, and general building upkeep. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Supervise maintenance team members or contractors when necessary, providing leadership and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Oversee the installation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes within manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support across departments. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial equipment. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and electrical troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge including repair of motors, pumps, conveyors, and other machinery components. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is preferred. Ability to read schematics accurately and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
