Maintenance Director

A senior living community in Northwest Georgia is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Director to join our team. This essential role is responsible for helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-kept environment for residents, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare apartments for incoming residents, including painting, repairs, and general unit turnover Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community and surrounding grounds Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance-related issues Help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of both interior and exterior areas Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergency situations Ensure building systems and equipment remain operational and compliant with applicable regulations Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred, ideally in a residential, hospitality, or healthcare environment Knowledge of general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and basic repairs Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional and courteous attitude with a service-oriented approach Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and complete physically active tasks throughout the day Flexibility to respond to occasional after-hours or on-call maintenance needs

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in senior living, healthcare, apartment communities, or hospitality settings preferred.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
