Lawn Maintenance Manager

Lawn Maintenance Manager Are you a motivated manager who is interested in joining a growing company with deep roots in the CSRA (Evans, GA)? Southern is looking for a lawn maintenance manager to join our team and manage 6-10 employees daily. We are looking for a motivated employee to help our business grow to the next level. This individual will be visiting job sites to make sure that employees are performing the job duties that are required to maintain a beautiful yard such as mowing, trimming shrubs, edging, and blowing off properties properly. Are you that person? Responsibilities and Duties Southern is looking for someone who has experience in lawn maintenance and is customer oriented. We are seeking an individual to come and run our maintenance department as well as sell to potential customers. Employee must visit all maintenance sites frequently and perform evaluations. Communicate with customers frequently Schedule day to day operations for employees in their division Turn in paperwork daily Establish and communicate department goals and results to employees and actively support employees' growth Make sure that employees have the tools to perform their job duties by monitoring any necessary repairs Qualifications and Skills Must have 3 years experience in management Managing employees on a day to day basis Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Mathematical skills Know plant material and the proper time to prune Know types of turf Category 24 pesticide license Benefits Vacation pay and retirement plan
