Position Summary:
As a Team Lead in the content restoration industry, you will be a pivotal figure in our organization, leading and guiding a field team to execute job plans effectively. Your primary responsibilities involve maintaining labor efficiency, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in job skills, and providing on-the-job technical skills training to technicians. Additionally, you will be responsible for full content restoration inventory management, ensuring a deep understanding and application of the process. Clear communication of essential job and personnel information to leadership is crucial for efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead the field team in executing job plans efficiently and in line with company standards. Maintain labor efficiency and optimize resource allocation to meet project timelines and budgets. Level 2 Team Leads coordinate and lead teams during overnight jobs. Level 3 Team Leads guide their teams through high-end and large loss jobs.
High Proficiency of Technical Skills:
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in job technical skills, setting the standard for the team.
Technical Training:
Provide on-the-job technical skills training for technicians, ensuring continuous development and improvement. Level 2 Team Leads understand structural mitigation and restoration processes to work with our referral teams. Level 3 Team Leads understand and consistently meet job metrics.
Inventory Management:
Possess a deep understanding and application of full contents inventory management for basic jobs. Level 2 Team leads develop content evaluation skills for inventorying non-restorable content in fire and water loss jobs.
Communication:
Effectively communicate essential job and personnel information to leadership for coordination and planning. Exhibit excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and uphold the company's reputation.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and well-organized work vehicle, upholding safety and professional standards pre and post trips.
Supplies Preparation:
Prepare supplies for jobs, ensuring all required equipment and materials are ready for efficient job execution.
Reporting Structure:
The Field Team Lead will report directly to the location's Operations Manager or the Excellence Manager at 1-800-Packouts of Georgia.
Process and Personnel Improvement:
Participate in the annual review. Provide input and feedback for improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven team leader within a service industry with self-driven results. Ability to lead oneself and service techs with effective results. Strong planning and execution skills. Strong conflict management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug test as part of the pre-employment requirements. Possess a valid DOT certification to ensure compliance with transportation regulations. A willingness to adapt to changes and continuously improve.
