Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Resell Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the resale process of equipment, parts, and materials, ensuring optimal turnover and compliance with safety and quality standards. Your proactive approach will help maximize asset value while maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and possesses a strong technical background with hands-on experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or facilities management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead resale initiatives that contribute directly to our company's sustainability and profitability goals. Duties Oversee the resale process of equipment, machinery, and materials, including assessment, valuation, and listing for resale. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation, schematics review, and compliance with safety protocols during resale activities. Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics analysis to verify equipment condition before resale. Manage maintenance records through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track asset history and resale readiness. Supervise the disassembly, welding, electrical work, or mechanical repairs necessary for preparing items for resale. Collaborate with customer service teams to facilitate smooth transactions and address client inquiries effectively. Ensure adherence to facilities maintenance standards during all resale operations and maintain a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical fields with a focus on equipment management. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience overseeing teams or projects related to maintenance or resale activities. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Hands-on welding skills and residential painting experience are advantageous. Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters and understanding of CMMS platforms for asset tracking. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Prior customer service experience is beneficial for engaging with clients during resale transactions.
