Essential Duties:

Provide direction to assigned Site Maintenance Technicians and accurately complete all assigned work in a timely, effective, and efficient manner. Promote good relations and display a positive image with customers, the public, and peers. Complete and submit all paperwork as required. Provide feedback to Facilities and Maintenance Director in the event of any Site Maintenance Technician performance issues. Maintain the proper parts inventory on the district vehicle to meet the majority of assigned maintenance work requests. Take proper care of, and maintain, district vehicles, tools, and equipment necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position, as well as to ensure maximum usage. Plan, stage, and complete the cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and installation of all types of equipment assigned to the trade. Initiate and complete assigned projects in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. Immediately report any issues that may have an impact on school or employee safety. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must possess the qualifications required to hold Crew Lead classification. High school diploma or state-approved High School Equivalency (HSE). Must hold a valid State of Georgia driver's license with no more than eight (8) points against the license over the last seven (7) years. Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation. Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators. Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work. Ability to be present at the physical worksite. Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, stooping, reaching, crawling, kneeling, and climbing (stairs, lifts, and ladders). Ability to perform routine physical activities including, but not limited to, repetitive motion, bending, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds, and heavier weights with assistance. Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
