Job Description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence of all wash processes, maximizing machine efficiency, scheduling planned machine maintenance, and engaging in CAPEX projects within the service center. Partner with the General Manager to offer guidance and oversight of local maintenance staff to ensure effective maintenance and operation of plant and wash equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support preventative maintenance program at the local facility. Coordination of maintenance scheduling to reduce downtime while maintaining safe work practices. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and provide technical support to facility maintenance personnel. Maintain and monitor the PDM system including troubleshooting issues, software updates, and hardware installations. Support the General Manager by providing equipment analysis and recommended course of action for efficient and cost-effective machine operation. Execute CAPEX projects and initiatives to approved budgets and timelines. Direct and support maintenance employees to install, maintain, and repair equipment as well as follow good housekeeping practices. Manage and direct multiple projects simultaneously. Monitor machine downtime. Train and develop maintenance personnel.salary:

High SchoolResponsibilities Role reports to the General Manager. Will oversee a team of approximately 12 individuals, comprised of Maintenance Tech II s, Maintenance Lead Techs, and a Parts Coordinator. Direct leadership skills are sought as well as strong hands-on ability. Knowledge of automation, conveyor systems, high & low voltage, pneumatics, hydraulics, and ability to troubleshoot automation/PLC-driven systems. Proficient with CMMS in an industrial application. Self-starter, strong leadership, accountability, and effective communication skills across all organizational levels. Avoid those with extensive distribution center/warehouse experience. Amazon, FedEx, UPS are not comparable environments. Avoid larger corporations - seek solid tenure at more than one small-to-medium sized high-volume production centers. Preference to food production or food-adjacent production (packaging, paper products that follow food safe requirements, for example).
