Job Description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Full-service residential property management company in Monroe, GA
EXPERIENCE
Minimum five years in corrective and preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs Minimum three years of management / supervision of property maintenance staff Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general contracting, vacancy turns, and general repairs preferred
EDUCATION
High school diploma, GED, or trade school required Associate or college degree preferred Military service experience preferred
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, direct, and train maintenance staff to maintain and repair apartments and homes Dispatch, monitor, and manage daily work orders Drive to properties to ensure proper workmanship, safety, and service quality Review and correct incomplete work orders Train and manage all related staff work skills and functions Assist with property repairs and maintenance activities when necessary Respond to maintenance emergencies and after-hours calls as needed Maintain good working relationships with staff, managers, and vendors Manage maintenance supplies, inventories, and equipment purchases Conduct assessments of maintenance staff and vendor performance
SKILLS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong communications and leadership skills Computer proficiency / ability to learn property management and maintenance program Strong organizational and problem solving skills Ability to perform strenuous tasks related to general maintenance and repair work Occasional exposure to extreme weather working conditions
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience Company vehicle with fuel expense provided / driver's license required Health insurance available after the first 90 days References required
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
