MAINTENANCE PLANNER SCHEDULER JOB SUMMARY
This position supports the maintenance planning functions and utilizes a systems approach to coordinate the estimating and planning of both mechanical and electrical work. The scope of work will include job scoping, labor estimating, material identification and procurement. JOB FUNCTIONS
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Support planning activities for the area supervisor and area maintenance technicians
Create job plans for repetitive maintenance procedures
Manage SAP work order backlog for area of responsibility, including mechanical and electrical work orders
Plan, estimate cost and completion time, schedule jobs in area of responsibility Manage parts for work orders
Maintain professional working relationships with vendors.
Leads weekly and shutdown planning with Operation Managers
Maintain an accurate and up to date work order list in SAP using proper codes
Estimated hours by operation step
Ensure parts are delivered and on site for all planned work orders
Meet all job planning package requirements
Bill of material management and optimization
Monitor temporary repairs
Coordinate entering of requisitions (material and service)
Entering PMs into the SAP system
Tracking the PM Performance Other duties assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Mechanical EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related training and experience
Minimum of 5 (five) years of Maintenance experience
Minimum of 2 (two) years on Maintenance Planning experience with knowledge of recognized maintenance planning practices.
Up to 15% of local travel requirement LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
General schedule is 7 am - 3 pm (M-F).
Employees are required to work overtime to include up to 12-hour shifts including weekends.
Employees must be willing to work alternate schedules that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting to 20 lbs. frequently (11-33% of the time) and lifting 21-60 lbs. occasionally (1-10% of the time)
Requires use of both feet frequently
Requires use of both hands for simple grasping, firm grasping, fine manipulation and repetitive actions continuously
Requires right- and left-hand coordination
Ability to stand, climb, walk, kneel and crouch frequently (34-66% of the time)
Ability to bend, squat, reach above shoulder and at waist or lower, twist, stretch, push/pull with force up to 45 lbs., carry, grasp with force up to 90 lbs. and finger occasionally (1-33% of the time)
Ability to read, write, hear, see, speak and have agility on a continuous basis
Pushing (occasionally) horizontal at a self-selected height with a force of 35 lbs. indoors on a smooth and inclined surface to complete fabrication of requested items to perform mechanical and electrical services to ensure plant operations
Reading computer screens or other electronic devices
Use of various hands and electrical tools and equipment
Work in areas of fluctuating temperature and loud noises
