Job Description

Job Details:
SUMMARY This position is responsible for managing four key goals: safety, downtime, budget, and overtime.
Key Duties:
Complete work orders and preventative maintenance. Supervise the designated maintenance/production crew. Track budgets and ensure product quality. Schedule maintenance crews and production orders. Maintain logs and records for the maintenance department's safety compliance.
Technical Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on: Frozen Block Grinders, Final Grinders, Blenders, Augers, and Conveyors. Work with industrial equipment, including: Vemag portion control equipment. Tray Denesting equipment. Omori overwrap equipment. Delford weight price labelers. Ulma bag sealers. Pearson tapers. Bizzerba labelers. Various other industrial machinery.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support team growth and drive continuous improvement within the department. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other local/state regulations. Instruct employees on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Implement ergonomic improvements within the facility. Perform additional assignments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Resume must be submitted.
Education:
High school diploma required. Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of general maintenance experience. Strong electrical and mechanical skills required. Experience in Industrial Maintenance and supervision is a plus.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
Travel:
Some travel may be required for training purposes. Priority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.
