Maintenance Lead What we are looking for: Department Lead coordinates the daily activities of Maintenance team by acting as a bridge between the associates and the Maintenance Supervisor. What you'll be responsible for in this role: Ensure team members have required PPE, parts, tools, etc. to perform assigned tasks Set the example for safety, attendance, productivity, attitude, etc. Assign daily task and duties to the team Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and repair plant machinery and equipment to assure safe and efficient operation Deep understanding of low and high Voltage, 3-phase, relays, drives, CNC controllers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC Work with machine OEM and Suppliers to obtain parts quotes Manage spare part and consumable inventory Utilize a CMMS application to manage equipment maintenance, repairs, and root cause analysis (ROC) Perform facility and equipment audits. Keep manager informed of team member performance trends, both good and bad Communicate technical information through use of written, oral documentation Provide on-the-spot verbal coaching or correction and document as required, both good and bad Mediate conflict between team members Ensure critical information is communicated at shift turnover Operate forklifts and company vehicle as required Support Lean initiatives 6S, Kanban, Standardized Work, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Kaizen Participate in the On-Call rotation. •This list of duties is not all encompassing What are the minimum qualifications? High School Diploma/GED required Minimum (5) years' experience in a similar role or in manufacturing environment What are the preferred qualifications? 2-year degree in industrial technology or 5 years' experience related to industrial electrical, industrial welding or industrial plumbing preferred Demonstrated leadership capability Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills Basic understanding and experience with MS Office, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint To be a great fit for the role: Team oriented - values the synergy of a team and operates as a team player Effectively collaborates, engages others in discussion and is hands-on in problem solving A fast learner able to quickly come up to speed on business processes to manage and serve the needs of the organization A passion for getting things right Can-do attitude, committed to finding solutions Demonstrated proficiency with handheld tools and other measuring devices Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication and/or instruction We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position's responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, a candidate's education/training, the position's location, and the key skills needed for the position.
