Culvert Crew Foreman

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced foreman to lead our culvert crew team. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of our county's drainage systems and road safety. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a dedicated crew, managing culvert installations, and assisting with various road construction and maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities

• Crew Leadership:

  Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the culvert crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

• Equipment Operation:

  Safely operate heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, skid steers, and dump trucks.

•

General Road Maintenance:

Assist with secondary road duties such as brush cutting, sign installation, bridge repair, snow removal, and gravel hauling as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of three (3) years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with Department personnel and supervisors, and County residents Class A CDL is required for this position.

Pay:
