Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability through effective management of service technicians and repair processes. Your leadership will inspire a high-performance team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive repairs and maintenance. Duties Manage daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to deliver outstanding automotive repair services Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Ensure accurate auto estimating and service writing to provide transparent pricing and clear communication with customers Drive upselling initiatives by identifying additional vehicle services that meet customer needs while enhancing department revenue Maintain compliance with safety standards and automotive industry regulations Handle cash transactions accurately and manage service department financials effectively Requirements Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management with a strong background in auto service operations Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair techniques including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes is highly desirable Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Strong sales acumen with experience in auto estimating and upselling additional services Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and relevant certifications preferred (e.g., ASE certifications) Join us as a Service Manager to lead our team toward excellence! Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
