Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance operations at a large-scale underground mining operation. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating both routine and emergency electrical maintenance activities across mine and processing facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The successful candidate will oversee electricians and contractors, manage maintenance schedules and priorities, and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.

Health insurance Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage Retirement plans Paid time off Employee education reimbursement program Wellness programs Generous relocation package Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct electrical maintenance personnel and contractors Coordinate troubleshooting, inspections, testing, and repair of electrical and electronic systems Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations, state and federal laws, and site safety standards Monitor and maintain mine power distribution systems, motors, transformers, PLCs, instrumentation, radio systems, and related infrastructure Plan and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and availability Review and prepare maintenance reports, schedules, and documentation Participate in risk assessments and development of standard operating procedures Support continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality, and cost control Conduct daily inspections of ongoing and completed work to ensure quality standards are met Lead and support employee training, performance management, and workforce development Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in mining, industrial maintenance, or a related heavy industry environment or a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with relevant experience Previous supervisory or leadership experience required Journeyman Electrician certification in Idaho or a reciprocal state preferred Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, PLCs, and industrial power distribution Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Underground mining experience preferred
What We Offer Pay:
$105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
