What You'll Get $100,000 to $110,000 annual salary 10% annual target bonus Overtime eligibility 80% employer paid health, dental, and vision coverage 6% dollar for dollar 401(k) match Relocation assistance of $10,000 to $15,000 with a 2-year agreement 2 to 3 months of temporary housing or reimbursement Paid time off and holidays Stable, full-time position with long-term career growth Ongoing technical and leadership development Why Leaders Choose This Role Direct impact on equipment reliability and mine production Lead a skilled maintenance team responsible for critical surface and underground fixed assets Work on complex systems including hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground infrastructure Collaborate with planning, operations, and warehouse teams to drive maintenance excellence Stable, long-term underground mining operation Opportunity to grow into senior maintenance leadership roles On-site role based in Mullan, Idaho with relocation support available Open to candidates willing to relocate for a long-term career opportunity What You'll Do Lead and supervise fixed maintenance operations on-site in Mullan, Idaho Oversee preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs of fixed equipment assets Assist the Fixed Maintenance Foreman and assume Foreman responsibilities when needed Direct daily work activities of maintenance mechanics and contractors Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance standards Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling with operations and planning teams Support emergency maintenance activities for hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground fixed plant infrastructure Assign work orders and monitor performance to ensure quality, productivity, and safety expectations are met Participate in risk assessments and support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Inspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure quality and reliability Manage CMMS documentation, shift reports, timecards, and material requests Train, coach, and develop maintenance personnel Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate degree from a vocational or technical school preferred 3 to 5+ years of maintenance experience Experience working in an underground mining environment Strong understanding of underground hard rock mining operations Knowledge of fixed plant maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment reliability practices Experience with hoists, compressors, chillers, pumping systems, and underground infrastructure preferred Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred Experience coordinating maintenance planning and scheduling activities Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams effectively Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement Hiring Process Apply today Quick phone screen Interview Start date Hecla Limited is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
