Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Grounds & Property Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of facility grounds and property upkeep. This vital role ensures that the outdoor environment and HOA facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. As a leader in facilities management, you will drive maintenance initiatives, supervise maintenance teams, and implement strategic improvements to support operational excellence across our manufacturing or industrial sites. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and home owners alike.
Core Responsibilities Landscape Oversight:
Maintain common areas, including mowing, trimming, irrigation sprinkler monitoring and repairs, debris removal, and seasonal planting. Work with the Board to improve the quality of the common areas of the Association.
Structural Maintenance:
Perform minor repairs on HOA property (fences, signage, lighting, or clubhouse).
Preventative Inspections:
Conduct weekly "walk-throughs" to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs before they become expensive repairs.
Vendor Liaison:
Oversee larger outside contractors (e.g., roofing or paving crews) to ensure they are meeting the HOA's standards.
Equipment Care:
Maintain and inventory all HOA-owned tools and machinery.
Fertilization:
Coordinate lawn fertilization and weed management.
Required Skills & Experience Self Motivated:
An deep internal desire to continue to learn new skills. Be teachable.
General Trades:
Basic knowledge of lawn care, sprinkler repairs, weed management, and equipment maintenance, and carpentry.
Problem-Solving:
The ability to identify and find cost-effective solutions for property issues without constant supervision.
Communication:
Comfortable giving brief, clear status updates to the Board through the President of the Board and the property management company. Also interact politely with homeowners.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
