Job Description

thyssenkrupp integrated its Forging & Machining and Undercarriage businesses to start the new business unit Forged Technologies. With roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites in seven different countries, thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies has sales of over one billion euros and operates over 50 forging press lines and more than 150 machining and assembly lines in seven countries. The product portfolio includes undercarriage systems for heavy machinery as well as crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, chassis products, transmission systems and rotor shafts for the automotive industry. Maintenance Manager for thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company, LLC in Danville, Illinois.
Duties include:
Oversee maintenance department by ensuring necessary maintenance of equipment is completed, equipment operates and functions as designed, and plant operations run smoothly; perform budget control and planning for department; initiate projects, coordinate efforts amongst group leaders and shift team leaders, and plan, assign, and distribute work; perform daily plant walk-through to address issues and receive input, establish priorities, and schedule maintenance activities; develop preventative maintenance solutions and collaborate with engineering department on maintenance activities; and make hiring and promotional decisions, and prepare and issue performance evaluations.
Requirements:
3 years of work experience as a Senior Electronic Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Maintenance Technical Trainer. Must have 3 years of work experience with each of the following: performing planning and analyzation to ensure manufacturing line start up and function; managing employees while they fix electrical systems and mechanical systems; maintaining crankshaft machining machine tools for all types of machines related to the process of manufacturing crankshafts; performing maintenance and programming of Fanuc robots and industrial networks; coordinating with Maintenance Engineers to plan improvements and projects for equipment; creating and executing automation projects, and automating cells with PLCs and CNCs including Siemens, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley; and training and leading staff in maintenance techniques, work instructions, and procedures to increase the daily performance of equipment, and automated machines.
Salary Range:
$118,643 to $121,000 per year.
