As a key member of our facility team, the Maintenance Director plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. About the
Role:
As the Maintenance Director at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, including the nursing home, skilled nursing units, and common areas.
Your duties will include:
Facility Maintenance:
Plan, coordinate, and execute routine maintenance and repairs of our facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and building structures.
Repair and Maintenance Scheduling:
Manage and prioritize repair and maintenance requests from various departments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and competitive pricing.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Team Supervision:
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback to ensure excellent performance and teamwork.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
