00/hour (Including differential), based on experience and skill set Overview Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys solving complex equipment issues while leading and mentoring others? As a Senior Lead Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently by leading maintenance activities, supporting a team of technicians, and driving equipment reliability. In this role, you'll use your advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime, improve system performance, and help create a safe, productive work environment. A Day in the Life Your day starts by reviewing equipment status, maintenance priorities, and team assignments. Throughout the shift, you'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, support technicians with complex repairs, oversee preventive maintenance activities, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. You'll spend time both on the floor working alongside the team and coordinating maintenance efforts to keep equipment running at peak performance. What You'll Do Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians during daily operations. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems. Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime. Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide leadership during critical repairs. Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Coach, train, and mentor technicians to support team development and performance. Review work orders, maintenance records, and repair documentation for accuracy. Maintain parts and inventory levels needed to support maintenance operations. Assist with maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and site safety requirements. Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize production disruptions.
Requirements:
What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or team leadership role. Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Experience using CMMS systems for work orders, maintenance tracking, and inventory management. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Technical degree or maintenance-related certifications. Experience with PLCs, controls, building automation systems, or automated equipment. Project management experience involving maintenance projects and equipment installations. Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or similar industry certifications. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights. Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces when required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical maintenance activities throughout the shift.
