This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role that is becoming available due to a retirement. The successful candidate will have the benefit of an extended transition period and the opportunity to learn from a long-tenured incumbent before assuming full responsibility for the department. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day facility maintenance operations while supervising one Facilities Maintenance Technician. Maintain and troubleshoot building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and fire/safety systems. Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and reliability. Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule. Support OSHA compliance, building inspections, permits, and facility documentation. Respond to facility issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems. Track maintenance expenses, service records, and contractor performance. What We're Looking For 5+ years of facilities maintenance or building operations experience within a manufacturing environment. Prior leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems. Experience with preventative maintenance programs and vendor management. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, facility inspections, and compliance requirements. Hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to occasionally support after-hours or emergency facility needs. Preferred Qualifications Technical certification or Associate's degree. Experience managing departmental budgets or maintenance expenses. Experience working in a small to mid-sized manufacturing organization. Why Join Us?
