Job Description

Position:
Fleet Manager Job Summary:
Effectively maintain the operation of all company equipment. This includes the preparation of all new trucks, trailers, and associated equipment, as well as the continued upkeep of all currently operating equipment. The ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment is a desired trait and planning of preventative maintenance is key in this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Inspecting vehicles, doing driving tests & checking documentations
  • GPS/ELD knowledge
  • Initial emergency response
  • road service, minor claims, accidents;
  • Complete information input
  • driver, unit, trailer
  • track annual inspection, oil change and service intervals;
  • Communication with the drivers;
  • Following accident procedures in case of serious event
  • Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
  • Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
  • Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
  • Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
  • Creates and submits reports as necessary.
Preferred Experience:
  • CDL License/Driving Experience
  • Relevant experience working with a fleet of 60+ trucks (KW, Peterbilt)
  • Experience assisting in the driving onboarding process
  • Knowledge of fleet tractor and trailer inspections
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$55,000.00
  • $95,000.
