Job Description
As an Lead R&O Maintenance Technician here at Solstice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of our equipment and systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and performance in our operations. You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager, and you'll work out of our Metropolis, IL location. In this role, you will impact the success of Solstice Advanced Materials by ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Including but not limited to the following: Individual is considered a subject matter expert on maintenance and operation practices and should be involved in any and all discussion regarding changes to equipment, process, operational parameters and maintenance related activities.

10+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field. 10+ Years of experience in GF2 Process area In-depth understanding of the plant site Ability to diagnose Equipment failures in your respective areas Proficient understanding of GF2 Process Ability to assess and troubleshoot cells, cell positions, line work and valving Proficient Knowledge of mechanical systems. Proficient understanding of GF2 Electrical Systems Familiarity with maintenance management systems and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.WE VALUE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Unwavering commitment to safety Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.COMPENSATION
The annual base pay range for this position is $72,389 to $90,486. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
