Job Description

As an Lead R&O Maintenance Technician here at Solstice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of our equipment and systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and performance in our operations. You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager, and you'll work out of our Metropolis, IL location. In this role, you will impact the success of Solstice Advanced Materials by ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Including but not limited to the following: Individual is considered a subject matter expert on maintenance and operation practices and should be involved in any and all discussion regarding changes to equipment, process, operational parameters and maintenance related activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide insight on shortfalls or needs for improved preventative maintenance plans. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment performance. Review and ensure accurate depictions of plant downtime with Maintenance / Reliability Follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Offering insight and improvements to those practices back to your planners, engineers and operations teams Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations Assist Maintenance, Technical and Operations in continuous improvement initiatives Lead shift or off shift initiatives such as Plant washout.

YOU MUST HAVE
10+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field. 10+ Years of experience in GF2 Process area In-depth understanding of the plant site Ability to diagnose Equipment failures in your respective areas Proficient understanding of GF2 Process Ability to assess and troubleshoot cells, cell positions, line work and valving Proficient Knowledge of mechanical systems. Proficient understanding of GF2 Electrical Systems Familiarity with maintenance management systems and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION
The annual base pay range for this position is $72,389 to $90,486. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
