Position Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance department across the facilities, ensuring optimal performance of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This role drives preventive maintenance programs, minimizes downtime, supports plant projects, and ensures compliance with safety and food quality standards. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to supporting plant operations. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Leadership & Team Management Lead, schedule, and direct all maintenance personnel to ensure efficient execution of daily activities Provide hands-on leadership, working alongside technicians when needed Communicate effectively with plant leadership and cross-functional teams Maintain accountability for performance, productivity, and team development Preventive Maintenance & Reliability Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness through CMMS systems Review work orders, downtime data, and maintenance reports to drive corrective actions and reduce equipment failures Equipment & Facility Management Oversee maintenance, repair, and continuous operation of all plant equipment and facility systems Ensure all equipment meets operational, safety, and food safety standards Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance and work areas CMMS & Inventory Management Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders, scheduling, and asset tracking Coordinate maintenance inventory to ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials Maintain accurate reporting of maintenance activities, including daily summaries Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve maintenance issues and minimize downtime Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability Support and lead plant improvement and capital projects Vendor & Contractor Management Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers Coordinate and oversee on-site contractors to ensure work is completed safely and effectively Safety & Compliance Enforce all company safety policies and procedures Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in maintenance management, supervision, or industrial manufacturing Proven leadership and team management skills Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and conveyance systems Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills Ability to enforce company policies and maintain high safety standards Willingness to work flexible hours and be hands-on in the plant Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Preferred:
