Apartment Maintenance Supervisor - Starting at $73K

The Solomon Organization has an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance efforts at Fifteen 98 Apartments in Naperville. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years' experience in apartment maintenance in a community over 500 units, preferably in a Senior Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Supervisor role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepares vacant units for incoming residents Handles "on call" and snow removal duties on an as-needed basis Manages work orders requests for service Maintains adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas and amenities Supervises maintenance team Works with supervisors to complete projects Other duties as assigned by supervisor Must own some basic tools for use on the job Must have own transportation to move around the community

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work full time 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed 5+ years actual hands on experience Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business disciplines Rotating On Call

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires bending, lifting, kneeling, twisting, and performing installations at awkward angles. Work environment may include loud noises, dust, dirt, and minor hazards.
