We are a locally owned and operated automotive repair shop that is part of a franchise system with strong family values , we're looking for an experienced Automotive Manager to join our team! If you have a passion for cars, leadership, and working in a supportive, family-oriented environment, we want to hear from you! The Center Manager is responsible for all contact with customers from the initial phone call through delivery of the vehicle. The primary focus of this position is on sales and customer service. An honest, fair approach to all customers, sales, and repairs is imperative. Establishing professional relationships with fleet and wholesale accounts, parts distributors, and retail customers is key to this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all procedures for both the customer and the vehicle from the first customer contact until the car is delivered (picked up and paid for). Oversee cost percentages, conversion percentages and revenues. Utilize appropriate systems and forms. Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed at all times. Maintain appearance of the center for both safety and cleanliness. Problem solving and resolution of customer problems. Ability to manage personnel and enforce policies and procedures. Ability and desire to assume responsibility and produce results. Skills and Requirements A minimum of two years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket field. Exceptional organizational ability, attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the telephone. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to learn and follow procedures as trained. Knowledge of computers and ability to maneuver within programs such as MS Office. Above average customer relations skills. Honest and trustworthy, dedicated work ethic. Previous knowledge of the automotive repair industry a plus Salary based on experience.
