Job Description

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Manager at our state-of-the-art metal blanking facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Manager will lead a dedicated team, develop strategic maintenance plans, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities Leadership and Management:
Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including mechanics, electricians, and technicians. Develop and implement training programs for maintenance staff to enhance skills and knowledge. Manage the maintenance budget, including parts, labor, and other expenditures.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. Utilize predictive maintenance tools and techniques to anticipate and address potential issues before they impact production.
Equipment Repairs and Upgrades:
Oversee the repair and refurbishment of machinery and equipment, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs, upgrades, and installations.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Process Improvement:
Analyze maintenance processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment usage and improve overall plant efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment performance. Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, costs, and project status to senior management.
Emergency Response:
Develop and execute emergency response plans for equipment failures and other unforeseen incidents. Ensure that the maintenance team is prepared to handle emergency situations promptly and effectively. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or metal blanking environment. Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems used in metal blanking. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Capability to work in various conditions, including high noise levels and varying temperatures. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. Additional Information This position may require occasional travel to other facilities or vendor locations. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required.
