Job Description

Maintenance Manager Needed- Urbana, IL (Please note if you are viewing this posting on an external job board, unless specifically stated in the posting, the provided hourly/salary estimates may not be accurate as they are not provided by CKS.) We are currently seeking an experienced Blow Molding Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in a blow molding manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience maintaining high-speed plastic processing and packaging equipment. What's In it for You? Responsibilities:
Oversee all plant maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Lead, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot blow molding, auxiliary, and downstream equipment (e.g., Uniloy, Rocheleau, Bekum, or similar). Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and vendor relationships. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and capital projects. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a blow molding, plastics, or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLC controls (Allen-Bradley preferred). Experience with CMMS systems and data-driven maintenance strategies. Excellent communication, organization, and team management skills. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience.
