We are seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Supervisor for our Woodstock, IL residential property. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for properly maintaining all building systems including HVAC, electrical plumbing, basic building maintenance and light construction and building cleanliness. Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees the preventative maintenance programs and schedules all routine, emergency and preventative maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee, supervise, schedule and train maintenance and janitorial staff. The Maintenance Supervisor is very hands on and will work with his team to oversee the timeliness of work orders and make readies being performed by members under his/her direct supervision. This individual will follow up on resident issues stemming from work being performed in their units as well as immediately report any accidents or emergency situations to the resident manager. He/she will work with the property manager to establish schedules and assign personnel for routine, deferred and emergency maintenance and will continually inspect the property for improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Certification in HVAC (AC) repair and recovery. Excellent all around carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word a plus. 3-5 years maintenance and 3 years supervisory experience. Excellent interpersonal skills working with both residents and staff. Demonstrates a professional attitude in every aspect of his/her work, a positive and enthusiastic attitude. On call 24/7, candidate must live in the vicinity of the property. Must possess a valid Driver's License, vehicle and evidence of current insurance. High School Diploma or equivalent at a minimum with preference to applicant with College, Community College and or Trade School Certification. Pay based on experience.
