Position Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving a wide range of maintenance needs to ensure the property operates efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This role requires strong technical ability, sound judgment, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Electrical repairs and troubleshooting Plumbing maintenance and repairs HVAC operation, maintenance, and basic diagnostics Appliance repair Locks, keys, and access control Basic carpentry Painting and drywall repair Janitorial tasks, groundskeeping, and snow removal Preventive maintenance and unit turns Coordinating and overseeing vendors and contractors, including documentation and follow-up Supporting leasing operations as needed Responding promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergencies Providing on-call coverage for after-hours, weekends, and holidays Qualifications & Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Honest, dependable, and highly self-motivated Ability to take initiative and manage priorities independently Excellent customer service skills Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience required Experience with routine apartment maintenance and vendor coordination Ability to complete administrative tasks and maintenance-related paperwork Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent Employment contingent upon successful background check Schedule Monday through Friday On-call rotation required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Bonus and incentive opportunities Health insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Employee discounts Professional development and training opportunities
