Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities. As a key leader, you will coordinate maintenance projects, manage technical staff, and implement strategies to enhance equipment performance and facility safety. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise daily maintenance operations across all facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and industrial equipment. Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades to minimize downtime. Manage maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history for optimal resource allocation. Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks that support manufacturing schedules and quality standards. Supervise technicians' work performance, providing guidance on mechanical knowledge, electrical experience (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and safety procedures. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs aligned with industry best practices for industrial maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical systems (including high voltage), machinery operation, and facilities management. Lead projects involving upgrades or new installations of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or other automation equipment. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing equipment performance data and implementing corrective actions. Skills Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with strong leadership capabilities. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits (high voltage and low voltage), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and inventory control. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, industrial machinery, low voltage controls, and project management skills. Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Strong understanding of safety standards related to electrical work (including high voltage) and general facilities management practices. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate teams and document maintenance activities. Experience supervising teams of technicians or engineers within manufacturing or industrial settings. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems used in manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics along with general mechanical knowledge for equipment repairs.
