Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-quality vehicle repairs, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, promote sales, and uphold the highest standards of automotive care. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and customer interactions Lead and motivate a team of service technicians, advisors and support to achieve operational goals Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, and engine repairs Ensure all automotive repairs meet quality standards and safety regulations Lead team to upsell additional services and maintenance plans to enhance customer satisfaction and departmental revenue Handle service writing, auto estimating, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts inventory, and repair documentation Skills 2+ years of proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management Ability to hire, lead and retain a great team Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems including transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, suspension systems, and tire services Experience working with service technicians on complex repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes Ability to demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced environment Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to excellence in automotive care!
