Job Purpose This hands-on position is responsible for supervising plant maintenance personnel in multiple shifts. Emphasizing preventative/predictive maintenance with permanent corrective actions and be able to react to plant operation needs in an urgent professional manner. Tasks/Essential Duties Training / employee development, development of best practice work instructions and assisting team members in technical knowledge and skillsEnsure all Maintenance activities are completed appropriately and accurately recorded in CMMS systemAssist in troubleshooting and repairs of all equipment and the overall facilitySupport day-to-day machine and plant operations (repairs, troubleshooting, planning)Specification / selection, acquiring and organizing of appropriate spare partsPlanning and assisting outside contractors for plant, equipment, and various activitiesVerify and Authorize timecardsAssign overtime as needed according to the union contractFollow all relevant policies and procedures (5S, Safety, ISO, ARC policies, Union contract) Leadership tasks Supervising maintenance personnel including planning, organizing, and tracking of Maintenance department activities
