WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Maintenance Manager, Coating & Bonding, is responsible for overseeing the equipment & maintenance functions within the coating and bonding line. This role ensures that all equipment, facilities, and systems are maintained to the highest standards, supporting operational goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Equipment Oversight:
Lead equipment projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements. Ensure all equipment is in top operational condition Collaborate with other departments to design and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Create Maintenance PM program and lead all preventive maintenance activities. Track completed PM's and look for opportunities for predictive maintenance.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Source and manage external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and engineering tasks.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and projects. Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance to senior management.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Education Bachelor's degree, or a related field experience in OEM automotive. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CMRP, etc.) are a plus. Experience 8+ years of experience in Maintenance or Engineering managerial roles. 8+ years of experience in Coating & Bonding in an automotive manufacturing environment. Proven track record of managing large-scale production operations and leading cross-functional teams. Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions and Environment:
This position is a combination of office work and regular engagement with the manufacturing plant floor operations. Must have the ability to travel, both domestic and international (up to 10%).
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Must have the ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
